Uncovered this little gem when digging through an old back up of my hard drive.
Enjoy!

"It's been a long time -- I shouldn't have left you -- without a dope mix to dance to..."
I love dropping obvious rap lyrics to start a post. Anyway, all cliches aside, I finally found an hour to put together a new mix. It's a burner full of new/popping Top 40 Dance from Bieber to Ying Yang and Nicki to some "Call Me Maybe" mash-up nonsense. Seventeen tracks in all coming in just over 30 minutes.
Check below or head over to Soundcloud for this and some older goodness.
Top 40 Dance Mix (07/2012) by Seth Isaacs

Put together a quick little blend with J-Kwon's "Hood Hop" and of course, everyone's favorite club anthem, "In Da Club." Nothing fancy, but it works. True thug rap right here, ladies and genlemen.
As always, you can stream and download all of my music on Soundcloud.

Lead off (or latest?) single from Nas' 10th album effort entitled "Life Is Good" co-produced by Salaam Remi and the late great Heavy D.
This is at least the second consecutive record produced by Salaam (that I've heard anyway) who lends a real street, authentic, gritty sound that more than compliments the Queensbridge native's boom bap true-to-93 sound. The Nas/Jay-Z debate will forever continue; however, in my opinion, Nas has stayed true to his Illmatic roots and while I don't fault Jay-Z for switching up his style, content, and label backing, Nas is the same rapper today he was 18 years ago when he recorded his freshman effort.
Whether that's good or bad still remains to be seen -- and heard.
